Attachmate EXTRA! is a Windows-based terminal emulation suite that provides secure, reliable connectivity to IBM mainframe (3270), IBM i/AS/400 (5250), and UNIX/OpenVMS (VT) hosts. It features robust session management, keyboard and display customization, printer emulation, and high-performance file transfer (including IND$FILE and FTP/SFTP). Security options include SSH and SSL/TLS encryption, with support for smart card–based authentication via the Windows infrastructure. EXTRA! also offers macro recording and scripting (EXTRA! Basic, HLLAPI, and COM/OLE automation) to streamline repetitive tasks and integrate host access with desktop applications.

Attachmate EXTRA is developed by ActivCard. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0 and 9.0. The name of the program executable file is EXTRA.exe. Works with epp, edp file types.
